The Xenium lineup has just gotten bigger with the announcement of the new Philips Xenium X830. A well-speced touchscreen smartphone, the sleek Xenium X830 boasts a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display with 320 x 240 pixels and 262k colors, Wi-Fi connectivity and a capacitive 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus that vouches to snap all those precious moments when you don’t have your DSLR with you.
In the same pocket, the new Philips Xenium X830 features an ultra lasting battery that should send electricity through its circuits for more than 1.5 months when in stand-by and 10 hours of talk time, all on a single charge — which is a lot if you compare it with most of the smartphones on the market these days.
Supporting quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE and featuring a media player, FM Radio, 47MB of built-in memory and a microSD to up that to 8GB, there’s no pricing information or a release date for the Xenium X830 so we’ll have to wait for it to hit the stores.
