
Sony Ericsson has unraveled a new handset called the W995 Walkman. With this new offering, users can be updated with the latest happening in the world of entertainment and music.
At the launch of the device, Sudhin Mathur, General Manager, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications India commented, “Mobile phones today are at the epicenter of our digital lives and are increasingly looked upon as a getaway to entertainment-on-the-go. With the launch of Sony Ericsson W995 walkman phone, we are making an attempt to converge mobile entertainment by bringing together best quality video experience, premium imaging and music features and great connectivity options.”The handset facilitates a unique home theatre system, Media Go and SenseMe. The Media Go feature enables users to manage, transfer and play music, videos and podcasts from the computer using Wi-Fi. They can also share music using the 3.5 mm jack.
The built-in stereo speakers provide crystal clear sound to users while YouTube allows them to watch several videos. It sports an 8.1 megapixel camera face detection, smile shutter and LED flash. Also included is an 8GB memory card and high-speed internet access with Wi-Fi networks.
This stylish and compact Sony Ericsson W995 will be available for Rs. 26,786, in India.
